Patrick Pruniaux, Chairman and CEO of Sowind Group, has had a distinguished career marked by a passion for watches and sports. A watch enthusiast since his teens, Patrick began his professional journey with Diageo in London before moving to Africa and then Chicago. In 2000, he joined LVMH in Miami as Regional Sales Director for the Wines & Spirits business in the USA and Latin America.
Prior to joining TAG Heuer as the International Export Director, Patrick graduated with MBA degrees from HEC Paris Business School and London Business School. From 2010 to 2014, he served as Vice President of Global Sales & Retail at TAG Heuer, focusing on retail growth, channel optimisation, customer experience, and innovation. He was also a member of the LVMH Retail Committee, coordinating sales strategies for LVMH Watch & Jewellery brands.
In 2014, Patrick joined Apple in Cupertino to prepare for the Apple Watch launch as a member of the Special Projects team. Patrick was later promoted to Managing Director for the UK & Ireland, leading local launches and overseeing retail and corporate channels.
Patrick joined the Kering group as CEO of Ulysse Nardin in 2017 and soon after became CEO of Girard-Perregaux. Under his leadership, both brands consolidated their inventories and distribution networks, and ushered in a new chapter for the Ulysse Nardin Freak. Patrick also spearheaded the creation of new retail partnerships and collaborations. In 2022, he led a management buyout of Sowind Group, resulting in Girard- Perregaux and Ulysse Nardin regaining their independence.
