MANUEL EMCH
CO-FOUNDER | CEO
KOLLOKIUM | LOUIS ERARD
“I am particularly drawn to contemporary art that explores abstract, bold, and innovative concepts. I also appreciate modernist, brutalist, and minimalist architectural styles, as well as design that emphasises functionality and aesthetics with clean, sleek lines and innovative materials. I enjoy a mix of Pop Art and Installation Art.”
Manuel Emch is a seasoned professional in the watchmaking industry, known for his strategy and brand-building expertise. He holds a Master’s degree in economics from HEC Lausanne and has an educational background in Automotive Design from the ArtCenter College of Design. Manuel’s career took off in 2001 when he transformed Jaquet Droz from obscurity into a world-renowned brand – playing a crucial role in creating and designing iconic products such as La Grande Seconde, L’Eclipse, and La Machine à Écrire le Temps. During this period, he also served as a member of the Extended Management Board of the Swatch Group.
From 2010 to 2016, Manuel successfully revitalised RJ Romain Jerome, developing its brand and creating distinctive lines such as Space Invaders, Pac-man, Super Mario, Pokémon, and Spacecraft.
