ALCÉE MONTFORT
CO-FOUNDER
MAISON ALCÉE
“Music plays a huge role in my life. I started playing the piano at the age of four, and music has never left me. For those who play music, it imposes technical demands and a constant quest for beauty. Beethoven, with his strong character; Robert Schumann, and of course, Franz Liszt, for his elegance.
I found a piece of music I played nearly ten years ago. It was called L’horloge (the clock in French) and was composed of seven parts, each named after a time instrument, such as the clepsydra and the hourglass. Maybe my career was predestined.”
