PIERRE BIVER
CO-FOUNDER
JC BIVER
“Water is essential to me, not as in the drink but as the element. Being away from a natural water source brings me down. I find it very important for my balance, and I’m often drawn to it when I need a hit of inspiration.”
Pierre Biver, co-founder of the JC Biver watch company, made significant strides in the watchmaking industry despite his young age. Following high school and passing the Maturité Fédérale in 2018, Pierre gained experience at Phillips in London from 2019 to 2020. In 2022, he dropped out of his bachelor’s degree in economics at HEC Lausanne to kickstart the JC Biver watch company with his father, Jean-Claude Biver.
The father-son duo aims to bring a fresh perspective to haute horlogerie, combining traditional craftsmanship with innovative designs. Their workshop, located in a historic farmhouse near Lake Geneva, is the creative hub where master watchmakers and craftsmen collaborate to produce exceptional timekeepers. The brand is dedicated to creating watches that embody both precision and emotion, striving to give each piece a unique soul.
Pierre’s early entry into the watchmaking industry, guided by his father’s extensive experience, positions him as a promising figure in the future of horology. The JC Biver watch company reflects their shared vision of blending heritage with modernity to create exceptional watches.
